How to Crop Photos Like a Pro

Cropping isn't just cutting — it's recomposing. Here's how the pros do it.

When to Crop

  • Fix composition: Didn't nail rule of thirds? Crop to reposition the subject.
  • Remove distractions: Cut out clutter at the edges.
  • Change aspect ratio: Square for Instagram, 16:9 for YouTube thumbnail.
